The Application Server and the Database
NOTE: The Application Server and Database Management functionality is generally not available in SaaS deployments, except for a few notable features which can still be used in the Management Tool, including: one-time Cleanup and scheduled Cleanup (but not Archive & Cleanup); deleting Clients (from the database).
The Ekran System Application Server is the main component in the system. It provides for the interaction between the other components. The Application Server stores all monitored data, user accounts, and system settings in the database.
